The arc welder S-WIGMA 200D by Stamos Selection combines power - up to 200 amps - and a compact, easily transportable design. You can complement the TIG welder from this set with a TIG welder with Liftarc ignition. This will enable you to complete many different welding works with just one tool.

The welder is operated via a digital menu on a large LED display. The potentiometer for a seamless welding current between 10 and 200 amps is part of this. Clearly arranged keys allow you to comfortably switch between MMA and TIG welding or choosing the safety function VRD.

The E-Hand or MMA device welds materials like steel, iron, cast iron, nickel, copper or copper alloy from 1.5 mm thickness. You can use the welder in a wet working environment, like an excavation pit or sewer system, because the safety function VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) reduces the open-circuit voltage which automatically starts up at the beginning and switches back to a safe level when the work is done.

The HOT-START-function of the electrode welder procures an automatic and short-term increase of the welding current. Thanks to this “Hot Start”, the starting point is immediately heated to the optimal temperature and the electrodes do not clog. You get perfect welding results from the first.

The ARC FORCE and ANTI-STICK functions further optimize the welding results. The ARC FORCE regulates the arc sensor and adapts it to the perfect density for the respective material.

The ANTI-STICK-function prevents overheating and the clogging of electrodes with the welding material through switching off the welding current. You do not need any protective gas. The MMA welder can be used and will work at great precision, even in adverse circumstances, for example during strong winds. All these features make the TIG welder the perfect all-rounder for metal work, reparations and renovation works.

The 4 m cable assembly from this set allows you to add an additional welding mode to this welder: TIG welding with Liftarc ignition.

The Liftarc ignition has a few advantages as opposed to high frequency ignition. It is not influenced or incapacitated by nearby electronic devices, for example, smartphones, computers, control panels. There are neither tungsten inclusions nor ignition problems if the cable assembly fails. Damage to the electrode tip is thereby avoided.

TIG welding is for when you need or want especially clean welds, with minimal contamination, that are straight and leave sharp edges. There is no development of slags, therefore the device does not require additional cleaning. Sparks, splashes and open flames are reduced to a minimum.

Almost every metal and alloy can be welded, amongst others, magnesium, copper, nickel, titanium and steel. Very thin materials, starting from 1 millimetre, can also be TIG welded. You can weld in many positions, laying, over your head, vertically and horizontally. You’re always in control of the welding.

The welder is situated inside a casing made from powder-coated steel. It is therefore very durable, even under difficult outdoor conditions. The device is cooled with a high-powered ventilator that prevents overheating.
