Plasma Cutter - 50 A - 230 V
The plasma cutter S-Cutter 50 from Stamos Power efficiently cuts through metal with up to 50 A cutting current. It is just as useful in garages and workshops as in industry. The device proves itself in the hard everyday work of professionals, but also supports ambitious DIY enthusiasts in renovating and repairing.
High cutting power and comfortable handling
The plasma cutter from Stamos Power impresses with a long duty cycle of 60 percent at 50 amps welding current. To reach a duty cycle of 100 percent, the cutting current must be throttled to 38.7 A. Depending on the application, the current intensity can be infinitely adjusted between 10 and 50 amps at the power unit. With these performance values, the plasma cutter can effortlessly handle tasks in the automotive sector, in metalworking and other workshops as well as in industrial metal processing.
The settings for plasma cutting are easy to control via the clearly-laid-out control panel. The cutting current of 10 to 50 A can be set using a continuous dial, the current value of which is clearly shown on the large LED display. The air pressure is also defined using a control knob and can be read via a pressure gauge. This allows you to effortlessly adjust both values even when wearing welding gloves.
Depending on the requirements, the air pressure for the torch cooling can be lowered via a valve. With a flow rate of up to 175 litres of air per minute, the air pressure can be up to 6 bar. The compressed air is used to create an electric air which cuts through a variety of metals and their alloys, such as stainless steel, copper, aluminium and titanium. Depending on the material, you can cut workpieces up to 15 mm thick. The plasma arc is ignited using the proven technology of contact ignition.
The plasma cutter S-Cutter 50 also scores points with its handling characteristics. The ergonomic torch sits well in the hand, and the PT 31 softgrip coating ensures a firm grip during operation. The 5 metre-long cable between the power unit and the torch grants plenty of freedom of movement when working on larger workpieces such as vehicles or heating systems.
Efficient air cooling is one of the basic requirements for the high performance of the unit. A fan ensures the necessary air circulation in the housing. A powerful cooling system can also contribute decisively to a long service life for the plasma cutter. The same applies to the switch-off device in the event of overheating.
The coated sheet steel housing is also designed for a long service life. It permanently prevents mechanical damage to the device components. The plasma cutter can be carried using a stable, handy handle. Four feet ensure stability at the job site.
The welder is equipped with a MOSFET transistor. This technology represents the highest standards of performance combined with compact and lightweight design. The result is 93% efficiency! The welding current is very stable and thus ensures a perfect weld.
Powerful fans ensure an optimal removal of heat from the unit.
For plasma cutting, a gas is required with which the molten metal is blown away from the work surface. Compressed air is a common solution for this. For this purpose, the plasma cutter has a compressor connection.
On the back of every welding machine is a screw with an earthing mark. Before use, earth the unit via a cross-section cable, which must be at least 6 mm².
This device works with a 1-phase connection (230 V +/- 10 %).
Start the weld by placing pressure on the torch button. Stop the process by releasing the button.
The plasma arc melts the metal and the kinetic energy of the compressed air blows the metal aside.

The LED light indicates overheating or a malfunction.
Shows the value of compressed air the compressor delivers to the plasma cutter. The plasma cutter has a pressure reducing valve which regulates the air pressure.
