The powerful food dehydrator from Royal Catering's catering equipment line
The powerful food dehydrator RCDA-500/23S from Royal Catering enables you to make healthy dried treats for your restaurant, bar or even at home. The removal of water during the drying process ensures that fruits, vegetables and herbs as well as fish and meat can be kept and eaten much longer.
Beef jerky or dried vegetable slices?
With an output of 500 W, the food dehydrator's heating element ensures that the desired temperature for the dehydration process is reached as quickly as possible and kept constant thanks to the temperature control system. The dehydrator machine's temperature range can be adjusted between 33 and 80 °C.
The temperature and timer can be intuitively and easily adjusted via dials on the top of the device. The controllers can be used to monitor and control the drying process over a period of 0 to 30 h. There is a label on the front with temperatures and times for optimal results.
In the large dehydrating compartments, the included 6 stainless steel drying floors provide enough space for you to simultaneously dehydrate large amounts of food. The integrated fans will then ensure that heat is evenly distributed inside the device. This also makes the device suitable for refreshing food.
The chamber, housing and inserts are made of stainless steel and are therefore easy to clean and highly durable. The tempered glass door allows you to monitor the dehydration process without having to open the stainless steel food dehydrator. The non-slip rubber feet ensure that this meat dehydrator stands securely.

Dryer for home use
After my first use, I can definitely recommend it – it runs quietly and is easy to use thanks to its two knobs: timer and temperature. You don't have to keep an eye on it; it simply turns off when the time is up. I've already dried raspberries, pears, apples, and quince. I highly recommend it to anyone who's hesitant. The trays are dishwasher-safe, which is a big plus. If you plan to use it daily, I might recommend a different model, such as one with a door that opens like a refrigerator. This model has a glass door that slides upwards, and frequent use would probably be a bit uncomfortable. But that doesn't detract from this dehydrator. The shipment arrived quickly and was well-protected. The current price (PLN 419) is very attractive, and in my opinion, it's better to pay the extra PLN 150-200 and order a stainless steel dehydrator than a regular plastic one.

Each drying floor measures 29 x 29 cm. The distance between inserts is 34 mm.
What are the silicone mats for?
Silicone mats prevent the products to be dried from sticking to the trays. They are very convenient for moist foods such as mushrooms or bananas.
