Digital technology shines in the first-class workmanship from Stamos Selection
Selecting the parameters is particularly comfortable, thanks to the clearly arranged control panel. The knobs and buttons for selecting functions and welding parameters are easily accessible and a breeze to use even when wearing welding gloves. The intuitive menu navigation allows you to effortlessly adjust the welding parameters such as pulse rate, gas post-flow time or welding current. All selected parameters are clearly visible on the LED display.
Show moreShow lessThanks to its digital technology, the TIG welder has 10 job programmes available which you can set and save yourself thanks to digital technology. This way, there's no need to test your welding settings anew every time—instead, you can rely on your digitally-saved previous experience. The save button allows you to save your settings as job programmes and reuse them again and again.
Show moreShow lessThis welder gives you the option of AC/DC TIG welding, so you can work with either direct or alternating current, depending on the metal. Alternating current (AC) is suited for light metals such as aluminium or titanium. Direct current (DC) can be used for welding more robust metals such as steel, stainless steel, copper or brass.
Show moreShow lessThe Pulse function is particularly useful for welding thin sheets, especially those made of aluminium. It is also possible to select numerous parameters such as start current, base current or end current for pulsed current welding, and to optimally adjust them to the workpiece with the aid of the knob. In addition, the current rise and fall time, gas pre-flow and post-flow time can be set precisely for each welding situation and saved if required.
Show moreShow lessThe tried-and-true Mosfet inverter impresses with its precise conversion of the selected welding parameters, thereby making perfect welding seams possible. In addition, it allows you to switch effortlessly between the typical functions of TIG welding, AC and DC mode and between 2 - or 4-stroke welding. The welding arc is activated via reliable high-frequency ignition (HF).
Show moreShow lessThe welding torch produces few sparks or splashes during TIG welding and produces welding seams of high quality and purity that leave hardly any deformation. In addition, you can use the welder in various positions, whether vertical, horizontal or overhead.
Show moreShow lessMMA—flexible electrode welding without extra gas
No additional gas is required for MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding, enabling you to use it outdoors even in strong wind. With this welding method, the welder generates a very stable current, all the while securely maintaining the voltage. This allows you to make high-quality welds on a wide variety of metals.
Show moreShow lessSome functions are automatically activated for optimal welding results. Hot start makes igniting the arc with a briefly increased voltage much easier.
The MMA welding clamp can grasp even large electrodes with a diameter of up to 5 mm. With the MMA welding method, you can weld materials such as steel, iron, cast iron, nickel or copper from 1.5 to 10 mm thick. The welding machine enables you to correctly install and maintain railings, stairs, gates, doors, containers or metal machinery.
Show moreShow lessThe powerful air cooling system gives this device long-lasting reliability and durability. Two handles on the stable metal housing makes the device easy to transport, while the included hoses and cables with lengths from 3 to 4 metres allow maximum freedom of movement during welding.
Show moreShow lessNote for delivery in Switzerland: This unit is delivered to Switzerland without tungsten electrodes due to national legal regulations!

IGBT = insulated-gate bipolar transistor. IGBT is a bipolar transistor with an insulated gate electrode. This semi-conducting device is being increasingly used in power electronics because it combines the advantages of two transistor types: the easy controls of the field effect transistor and the fast switching and high breakdown voltage of the bipolar transistor. The IGBT also offers some robustness against short circuits because it limits the electrical continuity. IGBTs are a further development of MOSFET technology.
Show moreShow lessPowerful fans ensure an optimal removal of heat from the unit.
TIG/MIG and MAG welding require a protective gas. Inert gases, such as argon and helium, as well as active gases (for example carbon dioxide) and other mixtures can be used. The solenoid valve regulates the flow of gas. The valve is operated via a button on the torch.
Show moreShow lessOn the back of every welding machine is a screw with an earthing mark. Before use, earth the unit via a cross-section cable, which must be at least 6 mm².
This unit can also be operated using a foot pedal.
This device works with a 3-phase connection (400 V +/- 10 %).
If welding with more than 200 A it is recommend that a cooler is used. The connections of the welding device and the cooler-lines are marked accordingly with colours.
A non-contact high-frequency ignition in TIG mode ensures a cleaner weld starting point.
This is the time taken from the moment of pressing the torch button to that of the electric arc igniting. During this process the solenoid valve opens and the released gas pushes the oxygen from the gas lines and in doing so, forms a protective atmosphere for the arc.
Show moreShow lessValue of the arc ignition output current. This current can be adjusted at will. For precision welding, it is recommended to start with reduced power, weld smoothly and eventually adjust the current accordingly.
Show moreShow lessThe time taken by the output power to rise to that of the welding current’s value.
The time taken of the output welding current to lower to that of the terminal current.
The output current value before the end of the weld. Welding with the final current helps prevent a crater forming at the end of the weld.
The time after the weld is finished in which gas continues to flow from the torch; this cools the burner and protects the weld from oxidation.
This function reduces the heat to the material. It is primarily suitable for welding thin plates. If MIG welding is used, it is perfect for aluminium welding.
The frequency of impulses during pulse mode.
Relation of pulse duration to period duration.
The maximum value of the electric current while in pulse mode.
The current which maintains the arc while in pulse mode.
This is the percentage difference of the time between the positive and negative direction of the current during a welding period. This feature allows control of the width of the welding seam and the depth of penetration.
Show moreShow lessThis is the percentage difference of the time between the positive and negative direction of the current during a welding period.
This is the percentage difference between the positive and negative welding current value during a period.
Start the weld by placing pressure on the torch button. Stop the process by releasing the button.
By pressing the torch button the solenoid valve opens. allowing the gas to flow in. The gas pre-flow ignites the arc at the pre-set current. Releasing the burner button initiates a rise in the current to that of the pre-set welding current. The welding process stops once you press the burner button again.
Show moreShow lessThrough automatically boosting the tension at the ignition of the arc, this function facilitates the electrical arc ignition. After ignition, the unit automatically returns to the pre-set voltage.
Show moreShow lessThe current value increases automatically when the arc is shorter.
This function helps to prevent overheating of the electrode by switching off the welding current when the electrode sticks to the material.
A welding method in which the arc is maintained through an electrical current supplied from a non-consumable electrode. The arc is protected from the access of air by an inert gas.

Choose between the 2T and 4T mode.
TIG welding is divided into AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current) welding.
Used to switch the pulse function on and off.
By using the SHIFT key the welding mode can be selected.
The welding unit can internally save programs. You can start the desired program by pressing the button PROG.
The unit can store several welding programs digitally under selected numbers, for example programs specific to the requirements of certain materials.
