With welding strengths from 20 to 320 A and a modern IGBT inverter, the S-ARC 320LT electrode welder offers all the possibilities for welding a wide range of metals quickly and efficiently. This makes it perfectly equipped for various jobs in production or the workshop.

The electrode welding machine is powered by a 400 V power source. The current can be set to between 20 and 320 A with a dial. Two LED displays show the corresponding values in ampere and volts. This gives you maximum control when choosing the required welding current. You can also control the strength of the arc force function, which positively influences the arc.
If the power is reduced to 250 A, the duty cycle can be increased to the point where you can weld without interruption. The MMA welding machine does not require shielding gas, so you can work precisely even under adverse conditions, such as in high winds. With the MMA welder, you can weld a variety of materials such as steel, iron, cast iron, nickel or copper.
The arc force function regulates the arc sensor and adapts it to the perfect density for the respective material. A handy rotary control is available for this purpose. The hot start and anti-stick functions are controlled automatically. Hot start optimally and instantly heats the weld at the starting point, which prevents the electrode from sticking and guarantees stable and clean welding from the first moment. The anti-stick function prevents the electrode from overheating and sticking to the welding material by switching off the welding current.
The mobile welding machine has a practical handle that allows you to carry it comfortably. Overheat protection and a fan protect the technology inside the unit from excessive heat.

IGBT = insulated-gate bipolar transistor. IGBT is a bipolar transistor with an insulated gate electrode. This semi-conducting device is being increasingly used in power electronics because it combines the advantages of two transistor types: the easy controls of the field effect transistor and the fast switching and high breakdown voltage of the bipolar transistor. The IGBT also offers some robustness against short circuits because it limits the electrical continuity. IGBTs are a further development of MOSFET technology.

Can I also connect a TIG lift arc welding torch to the device?
Yes, but you must change the connections (the earth cable must be connected to the ‘+’ connection, the connection for the TIG lift arc torch to the ‘-‘ connection) and arc force must be set to the lowest level. Then you can also weld TIG with a TIG lift arc welding torch.
Sorry, ich habe mich bei der Kabellänge verschätzt. Nachgemessen sind es knapp 3m. Der Aktionsradius liegt dabei eher im Bereich von 1,5m. Gerät steht auf dem Boden, Werkstück auf dem Tisch. Bei Bedarf kann man ja längere Kabel mit 13mm Stecker verwenden.
In meiner Bewertung ist die Längenangabe der Schweißkabel nicht korrekt. Das Massekabel so wie das Schweißkabel-Elektrodenhalter- haben eine Länge von 2,96m vom Anschlussstecker (Pol) bis zur Spitze der Masseklemme bzw. des Elektrodenhalters. Die Elektrodenzange ist eine Ausführung für 600A. Masseklemme ist auch elektrisch solide ausgeführt. Kabelquerschnitt ist 50qmm! In den Technischen Daten der Seite so wie in der Bedienungsanleitung ist die Leerlaufspannung falsch angegeben. Laut Anzeige und auch laut Messgerät (Norma) ist die Leerlaufspannung bei ca. 65,5 bis 65,8V. In der GBA sind hier 76V! und in den Technischen Daten der Internetseite nur 55V angegeben.
Aber dafür kann ja das Gerät nichts. Es läst sich für meine Verhältnisse (Elektromaschinenbauer) damit einfach klasse schweißen.
Bin begeistert von den Eigenschaften des Inverterschweißgerätes. Habe vorher nur Elektrode mit Wechselstrom geschweißt. Meine 5mm Elektroden lassen sich verschweißen wie Butter. Aber mit 2mm Elektrode kann ich sogar 2mm Nagelbleche sauber verschweißen. Kein einziges Loch hineingebrannt. Hatte mich zuerst für das 230V-Wechselstromgerät S-MMA 160 D interessiert. Da ich aber nur bauseitig 25A Sicherungen im Anschlusskasten habe, hätte das Gerät mit 16 (max.C) abgesichert werden müssen. Die Anfrage an Expondo/ Stamo wurde nach einer Woche beantwortet. Man empfahl einen 20A/C- Automaten. Deshalb viel dann meine Wahl auf das 400V-Drehstromgerät S- ARC 320 LT. Bestellung und Lieferung über expondo verliefen reibungslos. ( Wie zuvor bei meinem Plasmabrenner). Einzig die Kabel sind mit 1;5m doch sehr kurz geraten. Dafür ist der Querschnitt aber sehr gut bemessen. Auf Grund des geringen Gewichtes des Schweißgerätes (17kg) kann man es zum Glück bequem tragen und verstellen. (mein altes Drehstromschweißgerät wog 50kg+). Die Bedienknöpfe sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Man steuert hier das rechte Display mit dem linken Drehknopf (Arcforce) und mit dem rechten Drehregler das linke Display (Schweißstrom in A). Umgekehrt wäre es Sinnrichtig. Aus meiner Sicht kann man aber bei dem Preis nichts verkehrt machen.
