• Always wear eye protection and gloves when shredding!
• Keep an eye on the outlet chute and make sure that it is unobstructed. The device may jam if, for example, the collection bag is full.
• The material to be chipped should not exceed a diameter of 70 mm.
• Never reach inside the chipper!
• Never place material that is too wet inside the wood chipper, as it can stick inside the device and lead to blockages. This includes fresh foliage - the leaves are too wet and soft. Fresh hay should be allowed to dry out for two to three days before mulching.
• Do not attempt to mulch household waste or cooking waste, as these are not compostable.
