Get environmentally friendly laundry: wash naturally without detergents
As an alternative to conventional detergents, you can treat the water with ozone during the washing process. Water enriched with ozone has the advantage that it binds dirt, odours, bacteria and mould, which removes them completely. It performs the same tasks as washing powder or liquids that you usually would need for washing.
There are also many environmentally friendly detergents available on the market today. These are biodegradable and more compatible for the environment than conventional detergents. These products cost you a lot of money over and over again. By connecting an ozone generator to your water supply, you will contribute more to the environment and save money on additives with every wash cycle, as you will no longer need detergent.

Why should you wash your clothes without detergent?
Detergents not only cost a lot of money, but also pollute the environment with every wash cycle. Dirt and bacteria are bound in the detergent and released into the sewage system. The water, which is now heavily polluted, has to be purified at a great expense to the sewage treatment plant. Detergent residues also often remain in the washing machine itself. These develop unpleasant odours, so you need to clean your washing machine regularly. Water treated with ozone leaves no traces and effectively removes the impurities stuck in your clothes.
Many people have recently developed allergies to numerous substances in detergents and must resort to special, gentler solutions. T-shirts, trousers or other garments cleaned with ozone are residue-free. The ozone is completely broken down during washing and only removes the impurities from the clothes without leaving anything behind. As an added benefit, water treated with ozone is very gentle on your skin. It is also often used to wash fruit and vegetables or to clean the water in swimming pools.
If you use washing powder or liquids for laundry, then you have to use a hot water cycle of up to 60 °C, sometimes even 90 °C, depending on the garment. That uses a lot of excess power in the long run. When cleaning with ozone, you can use cold water straight from your water supply and it is completely sufficient. Cleaning takes place entirely through the reaction of the ozone with the dirty laundry. This not only saves you energy and money, but also protects your washing, which will not shrink or suffer damage to the fibres due to a cool wash cycle.
How can ozone water be used to wash your clothes without detergent?
To enrich the water for your washing machine with ozone, you will need an ozonator. Install it between your water inlet and the washing machine. Ozone is continuously formed from the water passing through, where it accumulates before being fed into the washing machine. There it reacts with dirt, odours and impurities and neutralises them completely. In the process, the ozone itself is completely broken down and converted back into oxygen or water. Ozone in water is one of the strongest oxidants and up to 300 times more effective against bacteria and germs than chlorine.

The benefits described above were first used in hotels and hospitals, primarily to combat infectious diseases. It was found that textiles could also be cleaned with fewer chemicals. Most of these industrial systems used ozone to pre-treat water in large water tanks and to improve water quality.
