Large and sturdy water distiller bought for prep purposes to ensure potable water. It does its job and I'm satisfied, even though I didn't have the opportunity to lab test the results.

The product works as it should so far. You must be aware that the water you pour into the distiller can give off fragrances/impurities that remain in the final product, as they evaporate further with the water

I bought the device 10 months ago and was initially impressed with the function and performance. After five months, cracks appeared at the bottom of the water tank. The water tank was replaced under warranty. Now the water tank on the bottom is cracked again, apparently in the area of the heater. Communication with the service is a disaster. I receive automated emails with no specific reference to what I have previously written and explained. The contents of my emails are not discussed. I no longer have confidence in this product or service. If the water container is replaced again under warranty, it will crack again at the bottom after six months at the latest. This poses a risk of water getting into the electrical system with consequences that I cannot estimate. In other words: After the warranty period has expired, I can scrap the device unless the design has been improved and durable water containers are finally installed. I would ideally like to return the device for a refund of the purchase price, but I haven't found a convincing alternative on the market so far. The devices on offer are too similar and I suspect that they are inferior imports from the Far East.
