Magnetic Stirrer with Hotplate PRO
With the SBS-MR-1600/1T PRO magnetic stirrer with hotplate, you can mix and heat different types of liquids, even in closed vessels. The device is fitted with one plate surface that allows you to regulate the stirring speed and temperature independently of one another. The delivery includes two magnetic stir bars, which provide protection against heat, abrasion and chemical corrosion. They are also very easy to clean and disinfect. The speed can be continuously adjusted to a maximum of 1.600 rpm. Thus, the high number of revolutions allows you to efficiently and evenly mix even liquids with large viscosity. To obtain the most accurate results possible, the magnetic laboratory stirrer has a timer function. The timer can be set from 0 to 9999 minutes . After the set countdown elapses, the stirring and heating functions switch themselves off.
The hotplate has its own stand with a temperature sensor and stainless steel clamp. You can adjust the stand in both height and inclination. The plate measures 18.7 x 18.7 cm. On this hotplate you can conveniently place beakers or Erlenmeyer flasks with a capacity of approx. five litres. The plate impresses with its fast heating-up time. It has a heating output of 600 watts and a stirring output of 60 watts, which corresponds to a total output of 660 watts. Use the optional temperature sensor and obtain precise values without temperature fluctuations.
The magnetic stirrer with hotplate has a digital display. Even from a distance, you can easily read the values on the backlit display. The parameters are set via a touchpad. The temperature can be set in the range of 5 to 220 °C . Additionally, the device has an PID controller, which independently influences one or more physical sizes on a given level under reduction of influences of noise during a technical process. The magnetic stirrer operates very quietly. Four non-slip, vibration-damping rubber feet on the underside ensure a secure, stable support and prevent any work surfaces from being scratched.
