Light, easily portable and more than expected 😊😊

1. Shipping/delivery to Austria was very fast (3 days), tracking via GLS up to date. 2. TIG welding machine S-WIGMA 200PDC The device makes a good impression, weight approx. 7.5 kg, the plastic parts are, as expected, not like a professional device, but absolutely OK. Current intensity can be easily adjusted using a rotary encoder (not a cheap potentiometer). The first welding attempts with an electrode were perfect: good ignition, constant welding current. I even measured the current with a Fluke clamp ammeter and checked the deviation from the set current: very accurate at 100 and 110 A, slightly lower (~2-3 A) than set at 50 A. The device also has the Hot Start and Arc Force functions (setting range for both from 0-60, it is probably %). According to initial tests, electrode welding works very well, you have to try out the effect. I haven't tested TIG welding yet - no argon yet... But the device even offers the pulse function, which can be easily adjusted via the control panel. 3. Operating instructions Actually, it only contains general safety instructions. No explanation of the setting options, no technical data! (e.g. Hot Start and Arc Force setting range / unit) If you are familiar with the basic settings and terms for electrode or TIG welding, this should not be a real problem. 4. Customer support I exchanged a few emails with customer service before purchasing: always a prompt and friendly response. Only one thing: the answer to my question about what diameter the sockets for the welding cables have was answered with 12.8 mm. After inquiry, 13 mm was confirmed. But that is not correct, because the sockets fit the 9mm mandrel (also common with 200A devices). 5. Discount A discount of 15 euros was granted (you can request it), even after I had already made the purchase and had overlooked entering the discount code. Summary: A nice electrode and TIG welding machine at a very attractive price. I can't make any statements about long-term tests yet.
