Microcentrifuge - 16 x 0,5 ml - RCF 1.200 g

Be it for industrial laboratories, research centers, or educational institutions such as schools, the SBS-MZ-4000/6-1.5 microcentrifuge from Steinberg is the ideal addition to your scientific equipment. This centrifuge is especially suitable for biochemical work with little sample volumes.

The electric drive of this remarkably compact centrifuge has 15 Watts. With the easily interchangeable round or rectangular rotor, the silent drive can process many tubes or microtubes at the same time. The speed of 3,500 rpm is continuously adjustable and, when at maximum, it produces a relative centrifugal acceleration of 700 xg.

Thanks to its light, compact design, the electric microcentrifuge can not only be transported without any problems, but it also saves a lot of space in narrow working areas. During the centrifugation process, the device is remarkably stable, thanks to the six suction feet. Additionally, the plastic cover protects the samples from contamination.

Especially when dealing with insoluble solidified liquids, filtration cannot deliver good results anymore, as the solid material would clog the filter paper. In these cases, you need to use a centrifuge.

By means of the continuously adjustable rotation speed,a high centrifugal force will be generated and the solid particles will be separated from the liquid. Due to their higher inertia, solids, particles or process liquids and gasess with higher density will advance towards the exterior, pushed to the bottom of the tube. After removing the tube, you can simply decant the liquid.
