We have been using the cabinet for about 6 months, but so far it has not been used continuously. The cabinet works reliably, maintains the temperature and appears to be of high quality. We use the cabinet to cultivate microorganisms in a laboratory, and so far the cabinet has served this purpose perfectly. The cabinet is relatively small, but it is really cheap when compared to other laboratory incubators. We initially thought about an incubator for reptile breeding in order to repurpose such a device for laboratory use - such devices are available for around €180. However, we needed relatively high temperatures for the incubation of bioindicator tests (Geobacillus stearothermophilus test ampoules, which after autoclaving have to be incubated at 60°C +/.-2°C) in order to check our sterilization devices to see whether they really kill the microorganisms . These tests also require a fairly low temperature fluctuation, which is why we decided to use a professional incubator. We don't regret the purchase and are happy about this bargain!
