The plasma cutter S-PLASMA 85CNC from Stamos Germany is specially designed for professional use with CNC machines. Designed for professionals, it blends cutting-edge plasma technology with the efficiency needed for industrial work. This plasma cutter stands out with its durable powder-coated steel housing, cost-efficient operation, and outstanding cutting quality.
The cutting current reaches up to 85 A at a 60% duty cycle. Even at full capacity (100% duty cycle), it still delivers a solid 65.8 A. That’s enough power to cut through materials up to 27 mm thick. Whether you need fast separating cuts or high-quality edges, our plasma cutter delivers with lightning-fast startup and high cutting speeds. Built for professionals, the S-PLASMA 85CNC delivers outstanding performance across various CNC applications.
For maximum efficiency, the Stamos plasma cutter features two operating modes. In 2T mode, the torch runs as long as you hold the trigger. In 4T mode, tap once to start the torch and again to turn it off. This mode is a game-changer for long cutting sessions. You can adjust your grip while working, reducing fatigue and strain.
This CNC plasma cutter operates on 400 V three-phase power, with an advanced internal build that reduces high-frequency arc interference. Its design is optimised for use with CNC machines, delivering the perfect combination of precision and performance.
The torch is ignited using a pilot plasma arc. The air pressure for plasma cutting is regulated via a pressure reducer. Choose the external compressor based on your needs and setup. Its design makes the unit highly flexible and easy to transport. To prevent oxidation or warping after a cut, the air supply continues for a set period. You can set the post-cut airflow duration from 2 to 15 seconds on the main unit.
This post-flow feature also protects the torch by keeping it cool. A high-performance fan ensures the base unit stays cool during operation. If the temperature gets too high, the built-in overheating protection kicks in.
Temperature issues and other malfunctions are indicated via an LED on the control panel. The front panel features a clear LED display showing the cutting current and controls.
