For insulation, renovations, and building rehabilitations on medium and larger-scale projects, the MSW Styrofoam cutter is the optimal hot wire cutting device. It is designed for millimetre-precise cuts in insulation panels made from Styrofoam and polystyrene. The hot wire cutter allows you to effortlessly cut large insulation boards with lengths of up to 1350 mm and depths of 320 mm. Thanks to the included scaffold bracket, which can be rotated 90 degrees, the polystyrene cutter can not only be used in the workshop, on the floor on Euro pallets or leaned against a wall, but also safely on scaffolding.

The hot wire cutting device enables highly precise work with its laser-engraved scaling and the 100 cm long ball-bearing guide rail. The polystyrene cutter also has options for fine adjustment of the cutting length, cutting depth and angle. This allows you to tilt the long support so that you can precisely cut slopes both horizontally and vertically. The depth limiters ensure that the material lies flat and secure even when tilted. The polystyrene cutter also has pre-mounted stop tabs that allow the same cuts to be repeated precisely.

Even in bad weather, this tool has your back: The waterproof transformer (protection class IP68) and the splash-proof electrical connections between bracket and transformer with industry standard XLR ensure reliable protection against rain and moisture. Included with the styrofoam cutter are 5 Styrofoam clamps, and its slim design makes it easy to transport. These aids are versatile, serving both to grip the rigid foam parts for installation and to precisely fix the insulation material to the wall without gaps. Delivery also includes a practical rasp.
