Separating and riveting with one device – with the riveting tool made of carbon steel
With the riveting tool from MSW, you can manually separate and rivet drive and timing chains. The handy vehicle tool is easy to use and suitable for workshops and do-it-yourselfers.
Universal timing chain riveting tools for beginners and pros
The chain riveting tool includes 3 cutting tips in different sizes: 2.2 mm, 2.9 mm and 3.8 mm. The tips allow you to work on different chains, from 35 to 630. To cut chains, select the appropriate tip and attach the enclosed spring. Then place both in the guide of the chain separator. For a better grip, attach the supplied handle to the tool. Now attach the riveting tool to the chain. When it is seated on the links to be separated, tighten the tensioning screw of the chain separator until the chain pin loosens.
For riveting: As soon as the new chain lock with rings and tab is in the desired position, fix it with the timing chain riveting tool. In order to do this, insert the appropriate adapter. In the last step, rivet the bolts individually using the anvils provided. To do this, tighten the clamping screw again until the bolt is riveted.
The chain riveting tool for motorcycle chains is made of wear-resistant carbon steel and has a long service life. You will receive the tool including a practical transport case.
