All in one – the effective chicken plucker and poultry scalder from Wiesenfield
When you're plucking chickens, it's a good idea to scald them in preparation so that the feathers can be more easily and cleanly removed. With the WIE-PPS-50 combination plucking machine and poultry scalder, you can do both! The device from Wiesenfield proves to be the ideal helper, taking over this time-consuming and strenuous work for you in seconds.
Perfectly prepared in the reliable chicken scalder
The poultry scalding machine has a volume of 55 L and is designed for 3 - 5 chickens per scald cycle. The powerful 1800 W heating element reaches the desired temperature very quickly, which would be 60 - 65 °C for chickens. A stainless steel basket measuring 29 x 29 x 51 cm makes it easy to insert and remove the poultry.
The temperature should be adjusted depending on the size of the poultry using the large control dial. The maximum selectable temperature in the water tank is 85 °C, although for most types of poultry only a temperature between 60 - 70 °C is needed. The thermostat reliably maintains the selected temperature, so you can optimally use the appliance for any type of poultry. An on/off switch rounds off the simple yet reliable operation of the poultry scalder.
Optimum plucking quality thanks to pre-scalded chickens
The high-quality chicken plucker with a drum diameter of 50 cm is able to pluck two to three chickens per cycle. This enables you to achieve an enormous capacity of up to 270 kg/h in commercial operations. All of this is made possible by the 3300 W motor which accelerates the food-safe stainless steel drum to 1,440 rpm. The 136 grooved and specially arranged rubber plucking fingers inside the drum ensure optimum results and are gentle on the skin of the animals.
In addition to removing the feathers, the rubber fingers also remove dirt from the poultry's skin. The plucked feathers are transported out of the device via the large ejection chute using a water hose, where they can be collected in a container. The plucking machine can be used for different types of poultry, such as duck, goose, turkey or pigeon. It is not the species of animal that is decisive for use, but the size of the animal (≥ 1 kg).
The machine is easy to transport thanks to four wheels, two of which are equipped with brakes. The combined chicken plucking machine and chicken scalder is made almost entirely of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and its durability makes it a real asset for all farmers, breeding farms, or even hobby breeders.

The machine actually plucks chicken feathers. The plucking process takes only a few dozen seconds. A fantastic machine, with a scalder included, which makes the machine a combine harvester for plucking poultry. Revelation

I was surprised
I asked the distribution company for technical advice, specifying my needs, they recommended this machine. After trying it, I can confirm that I got what I hoped and wanted. I have significantly reduced processing times with more than good results and I have freed myself from the nightmare of plucking by hand, but above all no more mess and dirt with feathers everywhere, the machine conveys all the dirt into a limited area that is easy to keep clean .
