Product Description
The moisture meter with plenty of accessories
You can use the SBS-MM-300 moisture meter to determine the moisture content of ceilings, walls, basements, wood, wallpaper, plaster and other building materials. This makes the work of craftsmen, plumbers, roofers or private individuals easier. The measurement of the moisture is carried out quickly and easily and gives valuable information as to whether the next step can be carried out or whether the firewood is already dry enough. The moisture meter is equipped with numerous accessories that can be used for different materials and make measurements precise yet simple.
The moisture meter from Steinberg Systems reveals the moisture content of wood as well as building materials.
The moisture is measured in a range from 1 to 75% for wood, for other building materials a measuring range from 0.1 to 2.4% is available at an ambient temperature of -40 to 70 °C. You can access default settings for 8 different building materials on the device, which are used to evaluate the measurements in relation to the material. You can use the integrated pins for the measurements, you can also use 14 sensor electrodes or a hammer electrode for your measurements. This means that you are optimally prepared for a wide range of building materials and measuring situations.
The measurement results are displayed immediately on the easy-to-read LCD of the wall moisture meter. Thanks to the backlight, the results can be viewed even in the dark. In idle state, the backlight turns off after 10 s, thus saving energy. The settings for the measurement can be made easily with just a few buttons. A dry/wet display facilitates a quick evaluation of the measured moisture according to the material. The device is operated with 3xCR2032 Batteries.
The housing is made of impact-resistant plastic and proves to be extremely robust even in harsh environments. To ensure that the moisture meter always lies optimally in the hand, it is provided with a rubber coating. The unit as well as the extensive accessories are supplied in a case that keeps all components together and within easy reach, especially for outdoor use.
