Electrode Welder - 250 A - IGBT - 80% duty cycle
The electrode welder S-MMA-250PI with cutting-edge IGBT inverter technology from Stamos Germany is an especially powerful MMA welding machine with up to 250 A. Thanks to its high performance and extra-long 8 m-long cable, this welding machine is perfect for welding in workshops or production halls, as well as for mobile use for outdoor repair and maintenance work.
At a full 250 amps, the welder can achieve a duty cycle of 80 percent. If the power is reduced to 220 A, the duty cycle can be increased to the point where you can weld without interruption. With its high performance, the welder can even weld thicker metals up to 10 mm quickly and precisely.
The welder is equipped with an 8 metre-long MMA cable and earth cable, which together correspond to a product value of approx. €50 and are four times the length of standard welding cables. The unique range of the cable assembly gives the device maximum flexibility while welding. You can also use it even under adverse conditions, such as in high winds, because MMA welding does not require shielding gas.
The arc welder is equipped with practical and cutting-edge features such as an IGBT inverter, which enables you to quickly produce clean, safe welds with little effort. You can smoothly and precisely set the welding current to between 20 and 250 amps using the control knob.
The welding machine enables you to correctly install and maintain railings, stairs, gates, doors, containers or metal machinery. With the MMA welder, you can weld materials such as steel, iron, cast iron, nickel or copper from 1.5 mm thick.
The electrode welder's hot start function ensures an automatic and short-term increase of the welding current at the start of the welding process. This hot start optimally and instantly heats the weld at the starting point, which prevents the electrode from sticking and guarantees stable and clean welding results from the first moment.
The air cooling and overheat protection (displayed next to the control knob) guarantee the long-lasting functional reliability of this MMA welder. The device can be used nearly anywhere that can be supplied with electricity via a socket with a 230 V 1-phase connector. The welding machine is equipped with a shoulder strap for convenient transportation.
