Everything's ok

The device is not the cheapest, previously I had a thicknesser from DW, which was of really good quality. But the time has come. MSW is PLN 1,000 from DW - and this difference in price and opinions finally made me buy it. So far, I can say that in several cases it performed much better than my previous DW and is exactly the device I need. I just hope that the MSW will be as durable as the DW (which I worked on for about 5 years - with heavy loads), it makes a very good impression and is solidly made. So I think it should last a long time.

Truly excellent product, the machine is robust, precise and of excellent quality. The work surface is well calibrated and the machining of the thick pieces is also very good.

The machine was delivered well wrapped with molded styrofoam and strong cardboard, and without damage. The machine is well built with a sturdy frame, the entire planer table is made of die-cast aluminum and is extremely sturdy and measures 915mm x 260mm. The height adjustment screws for both the straight planer table and the plane planer table are well adjusted and show no play whatsoever in the settings. The long angled side stop with dimensions 635 mm x 130 mm, and the guard for the cutter are made of aluminium. The machine gives a solid impression of quality and precision. I recommend this machine to all hobby carpenters and professional users who need a stable and affordable machine that is also easy to take with them to different jobs. I can also recommend the mobile chip extractor I bought for Richt and the planer, with model no: MSW-DUCO-E50 L, a portable chip extractor with a container in strong sheet steel and with a 2 meter long suction hose with a diameter of 100 mm. The hose can be stored in the container when not in use.

Bought a few days ago - first tests carried out on pine boards. It flies very well. I have a project planned and ready to be completed, so I will give a final opinion when it is finished. But after the first tests I see that it is a decent device. The first time I tried using the thicknesser, it cut slightly at the ends - but eventually, after a few more boards, it turned out to be a matter of practice, and not a problem with the device itself. The only minor minus is the ease of use - for a beginner it is not as easy to process the material as in videos. But this is also my first project, so this one would probably be the same with any other device.

How are the first impressions after a few weeks of use? I can say that the price in relation to the quality is fantastic - it is the best-made device I have ever had the opportunity to work with. The machine has solid and even aluminum tops. The fence in the planer is absolutely at the highest level as in products from the highest price range. Very solid, high, adjustable longitudinally and at an angle - it works great, the fence is stiff - which improves precision. Additionally, nothing vibrates or shakes, and rests well on the table. The workmanship itself also gives the impression of a product that will last for many years. I definitely recommend the purchase, I am very satisfied.
