In general I would say I am pleasantly surprised. I bought this planer / jointer because I was looking for 40cm capacity, and it was quite a bit cheaper than any other option. Given that, I somewhat expected less than great quality. But in truth, the wood I’ve passed over the jointer or through the planer is straight and square, without any adjustment of the machine post delivery. I’ve only had it for a month, but I’m not sure how much more I could ask than that. The only comments I would make is the base is not a rectangle, so fitting a mobile base can be a bit tricky (but it worked), and I wish they made an option with a helical head.
