I bought them to adjust the thermoformed shell of my ski boots (so the balloons placed inside the shoes need to be well inflated). The bulb supplied with it for inflation is of limited effectiveness, or mine was not working well. In the end I used a compressor, limiting the power, to inflate them and 2 balloons out of 4 did not withstand the shock from 1.5 bar. The last 2 held up and did the job. For their usual use of raising a window or unhinging a door it should be done without any problem
