The electric winch PROPULLATOR 3500-B by MSW is a handy electric off-road winch best suited for rough terrains. With a maximum traction of 1.590 kg/3.500, it is designed to lift heavy loads. The 1,3 hp engine, three-stage planetary gearbox, 12 m galvanized steel cable and the additional pulley make the device versatile in terms of its application. The electric winch helps to recover vehicles from rough terrain in no time. The 1,3 hp engine and the 12 m galvanized steel cable are big helpers. The winch has a traction of 1.590 kg/3.500 lbs. The winch can be mounted onto quads, ATVs, trailers or SUVs, or be used in the home or in the woods.
The 1.000 Watt engine is a permanent magnet engine and therefore much more efficient than an induction engine. Another feature of the winch engine is the intermittent duty cycle: the engine operates on an interval basis. The maximum temperature is not reached due to the breaks and the engine is protected from overheating.
The pulling force of the winch results from the three-stage planetary gear with a transmission ratio of 153: 1. In addition to the flow and return, the transmission also has a manual clutch for a quick unwinding of the rope. An automatic brake safely interrupts the pulling process or the power supply and stops the load.
The sturdy and non-twisting rope is made of galvanized steel and is particularly resistant to wear. The rope has a diameter of 4,8 mm. The loads are fastened to the rope and then transported at a lifting speed of 6,4 m/min min (idling). This high speed is guaranteed by the powerful motor and drum size of the winch
The four-way reel opening reduces friction and protects the rope from wear. It guarantees perfect operation due to the multi-directional wheels. A hardened steel mounting hook with a safety lock can easily be attached to the end of the rope. A mounting plate and two mounting clamps are provided for easy attachment to SUVs or other vehicles.
There is also a pulley included in delivery. With a capacity of up to four tons, the pulling force of the winch can be multiplied, and the pulling direction can be reversed. Both applications are extremely helpful when recovering vehicles on rough terrain.
The off-road winch can be conveniently controlled with two remote controls. A wired remote control and a radio remote control are included in delivery. The latter allows a smooth operation from a distance of up to 30 m, so you can stay at a safe distance and still operate the electric winch PROPULLATOR 3500-B.
Due to its heavy-duty construction and robust aluminium casing, the winch is durable and lightweight. With it light weight and compact size, the winch can be easily used with small quads and other vehicles. Of course, the winch is weather-resistant and dirt-resistant.

I recommend a little extra greasing before first use, especially on the non-drive side. Also, the wire rope, at least when new, is very stiff, the rear anti-kickback plate compresses the rope very tightly, the outer strands of the rope wear quickly. I replaced it with a synthetic rope and threw out the anti-kickout clamping plate. The device is good with a little modification. Strong, accurate. But the remote control controls intermittently above 10 meters. The delivery was fast and fair.
