Two riveted aluminium hinges ensure easy and convenient use. A lock prevents unauthorised access to the contents, so the aluminium tool box can also remain at loading areas or building sites. Aluminium tool chests with a large capacity for all kinds of professional tools
The dimensions measuring 177 x 40 x 40 cm and a 280 L capacity mean you should have more than enough space for all of your tools. The truck box is made of aluminium, which is not only lightweight. but also resistant to corrosion. The material is 1.5 mm thick, allowing you to transport and store even heavy tools. The locking truck box protects the contents from sunlight, water and dirt.
The aluminium tool box's hinges are riveted and stabilise the lid. A telescopic rod between the lid and the tool box makes it easy to open and close. The aluminium transport box can also be locked, which reliably prevents unauthorised access and guarantees that the box remains securely closed during transport and can remain on a trailer at any time. Two matching keys are included in delivery.

Excellent alternative to more expensive transport boxes!
Purchased to mount on my Heck-Pack to store skis and boots in . Tried to contact Expondo to get the measurements without success, so here are some measurements for those who don't want to spend a fortune on a finished product and have the same thoughts: Height short side: 26.2cm Distance short side to lid bezel: 3.2 cm Length of horizontal middle part (where the drawer is actually 40cm high): 45cm This means that the diagonal (think Pythagoras theorem) from where the bottom and the short side of the drawer meet, to the outer edge of the door is approx. 175cm. The diagonal from the outer corner of the drawer to the opposite outer corner of the door is approx. 179cm. In other words, it is possible to get in my 170cm long skis without problems. The box comes with 4 keys as it has 2 identical locks. Waterproof? No. The rubber strip around the openings is solid and waterproof. However, it is not the locks on the box that are pop riveted to the goods. Water probably follows the locking piston and rivets in as there does not appear to be a gasket between the locking part and the box. Does it leak in a lot? No, a 10 liter bucket of water generated a few drops in the box, so some silver tape before departure in torrential rain should be enough.
