TIG welding rods for stainless steels
With the filler rods from ESAB you get optimal weld seams in TIG welding. The TIG welding rods OK TIGROD 308LSI are highly corrosion-resistant and can be used for stainless steels. They are suitable for similar stabilised and non-stabilised CrNi steels and are used in the chemical industry as well as in food processing. They are characterised by strength properties such as a yield strength of 480 MPa.
Use the TIG rods for permanent welded connections
The TIG welding rods measure Ø 2.4 x 1,000 mm and are offered in packaging sizes of 5 kg. The austenitic TIG welding wire consists of a chrome-nickel compound with a low carbon content and a high silicon content. This makes the filler metal heat resistant up to 800 °C and up to 350 °C for wet corrosion. The high silicon content improves the welding properties and provide an optimal filler material for the weld seam in TIG welding.
