If you work with metal, then you should add one to your workshop - our belt sander from MSW. Whether you are rounding off edges, sanding or polishing surfaces, with the stationary belt sander and the matching sanding belt you can complete a wide range of sanding jobs in no time at all. The bench sander is extremely robust and will fit into any professional metal workshop.
Use both speeds of the stationary belt sander
Depending on the type of metal and shape of your work piece, select one of the two speeds to achieve optimum sanding results. The motor has a power of 2500 or 3300 W which can achieve rotation speeds of 1400. 2800 rpm. Sand and polish with varying intensity at a belt speed of 17 or 35 m/min. The stationary belt sander is particularly suitable for stainless steel, but you can also use it effectively for all other metals. For the abrasive belt, use a belt with the standard size 75 x 2000 mm, which you can clamp in no time with the quick-clamping system and change depending on the metal work.
For small pieces of metal, use the grinding surface directly on the roller. A cover protects you from sparks in this position. For larger work pieces or even surfaces, fold open the cover where you can grind and polish from above on the continuous plane grinding surface. The residue collects in a container during grinding.
The belt sander is impressive with its low-vibration operation. You can achieve an optimum working position by tilting the metal belt grinder up or down directly on the base. For your safety, the belt grinder is equipped with an emergency stop switch.
