When it comes to drilling, one thing counts above all: power. With a power consumption of 1680 W, this magnetic core drilling machine relegates the competition to their places. You can regulate the speed continuously up to 395 rpm. The highlight of thread cutting is the reversal of the direction of rotation of the drive. It reliably prevents the freshly cut thread from being damaged when the tap is unscrewed. All settings are made on the convenient control panel.
The power tool is designed to make your work easy and precise. You can change the drilling depth sensitively with a three-armed rotary control. Thanks to the large stroke range of 0 - 165 mm, you can work extremely flexibly. Thanks to the integrated spirit level, you always keep a straight alignment in view. Exact 90° angles are therefore no longer a challenge.
The core drill from MSW also has an integrated coolant tank. For simple tasks, fill the tank with 0.3 l tap water. For more demanding bores, work with special coolant or cutting oil. This prolongs the life of the drills and minimises maintenance work.
MSW relies on high operational reliability for its magnetic drill. Thanks to a maximum attraction force of 18000 N - which corresponds to a mass of almost 2 t - the magnet also enables work on thinner workpieces. Additional safety is provided by the lashing strap included in the scope of delivery. It prevents you from injuring yourself or damaging the workpiece in the event of a power failure, for example.
Another valuable safety feature is the RCD magnetic switch. If the drive is accidentally switched on after a power failure or disconnection from the mains, the motor will still not start moving. Only when the magnetic switch is actuated is renewed operation possible.
The composition of the accessories is a testament to experience and expertise. A drill chuck for holding shanks up to 16 mm in diameter, a coolant reservoir, spare carbon brushes, fuses as well as all assembly tools and many other useful accessories are included in the scope of delivery.
