Preparing ice cream will be much easier if you choose an electric ice cream maker. Simply put all the ingredients into the cooling bowl and turn on the device, and the machine will take care of the rest. This is the perfect option if don’t have much spare time.

If you don’t want to get tired mixing the ice cream manually, but you are interested in a more mobile option, then this could be the best option for you. A cordless ice cream maker will make your life much easier in this case.

Making ice cream in an ice cream maker – necessary ingredients

To make delicious ice cream yourself, you will need three basic ingredients – milk, whipping cream and sugar. As you can easily guess, these products will give a basic cream flavour, but you can easily turn your ice cream into other flavours!

Do you love straciatella flavoured ice cream? If so, then add finely chopped chocolate pieces. What about fruit flavours? Just add strawberry or raspberry mousse to the mixture. To prepare them for freezing in the ice cream maker, make your favourite smoothie – mix all the ingredients, make sure the mixture is sweet enough, and put it in the fridge. When the mixture cools down, put it in the ice cream maker and obtain a perfectly frozen fresh fruit sorbet after several dozen minutes.

What should you pay attention to when choosing an ice cream maker for your restaurant or bar?

An ice cream maker for an ice cream parlour or a small bistro is a very different product category all together. Here, you need to focus on the possibility of producing large amounts of ice cream in a short time, and with minimal effort. So the ice pads, which require prior freezing, will not be efficient enough, and you will need an ice cream maker for commercial use.

You can choose, among others, from machines with dispensers – ideal for making soft serve ice cream, frozen yoghurt and other great desserts. Another type is the Thai rolled ice cream machine, which is used for preparing spectacular Thai rolled ice cream.

It’s also worth considering a large machine for making traditional ice cream for serving in scoops – most venues order their ice cream ready-made in boxes, but if you want to impress your guests with the natural taste of artisan ice cream, such equipment will prove to be a better choice. What all commercial ice cream makers have in common is that they are reliable, offer continuous readiness and perfect results every time.
