Canopy

Prompt and efficient service from expodo. Kept us informed every step of the way. A friend erected it for me and between us took 2-3 hours wasn’t difficult if you laid all the pieces out first. Once erected it looks good and serves the purpose of a shelter area over a small patio at the top of our garden overhung with trees. We wanted to stop leaves and bird droppings spoiling our patio which it does and gives us a nice shady area to sit. Also seems very sturdy I hope it will last many years. I also hope there is the option of a spare cover which I will enquire into. We consider this a good buyl

Not for the rain Nice for sunshine. Easy to settle up. But when it rains it gathers water on lower part and on the back. A lot. So I had to make extra plastic under the canvas to hold the canvas.

Love my sun shade.

Love my sun shade. It took 3 of us to put it together. Only had one problem - there was a screw hole missing on the middle top strut - easily solved with a drill. It’s sturdy & looks good. Just be careful if it rains - water tends to collect in the dips at the front & we have to keep tipping it out, perils of living in Northern England.

Nice sunshade

It is a nice sunshade, easy to assemble by following the instructions carefully. Be sure to put everything together that belongs together to avoid confusion. Also the various nuts and bolts. The screen is unsuitable in heavy rain. Then I recommend temporarily removing the cloth.

Sun protection

I bought it as sun protection for our cat balcony. It serves its purpose well and I'm happy with it so far.

Pavilion a la sunshade

There is virtually nothing wrong with a pavilion that is manufactured in Poland. The fit of the parts must be paid attention to, mine contained 4 pcs. drill holes incorrectly and did not match. In addition, a clearer instruction manual would be better, it does require some technical knowledge to assemble, but what is even more important is the correct order of assembly. All in all, it stands, and we got it at the right time! It has already removed a lot of sun, and we are comfortable with a lounge underneath!

Although the canvas is rain resistant, water remains accumulated in the base part of the pergola. Once assembled it is pretty.

Not for when it rains

Expondo were good for the purchase and the delivery. The actual Gazebo frame is okay although the centre bar had a slight twist in it. The canvas cover is really tight to fit and does put strain on the stitching of the toggles that secure the cover to the frame. A few days after putting it up it rained for the first time in a while, problem 1 the rain water collected in the lower front and top back of the canvas, the lower section resulting in pools of many litres of water and weight, and more strain on the stitching of the toggles that hold the cover, which presented problem 2 by adding strain to the joint bolts of the front frame so I am now going to have to add washers to the bolts that join the from frame to strengthen it so it does not damage the frame. Problem 3 is that the rain seeps through the cover so our patio furniture got wet. The front section of the frame is at the correct angle for water to run off but as the cover has some stretch in it the water does NOT run off and just pools in the lower and top sections, not good. So I would not recommend if you live anywhere it might rain. I would recommend the manufacturer changes the material of the cover to something with no stretch on it or reviews additions to the frame to prevent water pooling, strengthens the cover around all stitching where the toggles are placed and also supply washers for all of the bolts to prevent strain on the front and back frame joints.
