The S-CUTTER 100C plasma cutter from Stamos Power ² gives you active support when cutting metal materials. It offers plenty of power reserves for cutting thick metal materials using air plasma. The plasma cutting device is impressive with its special features, such as; a powder-coated sheet steel housing, high cost-effectiveness and first-class cutting power.

S-CUTTER 100C—sophisticated welding technology combined with a high cutting performance

With a cutting depth for carbon steel of up to 40 mm, the plasma cutter is just as equipped for demanding tasks in repair and renovation as it is for efficient use in production or the workshop. The high performance is made possible by the particularly reliable IGBT inverter technology. You can select the external compressor according to your requirements and circumstances and set the air pressure for plasma cutting via the external pressure reducer. This proves the unit to be very flexible and easy to transport. 

With a power-on time of 60%, the cutting current is 100 A. With a working range between 30 and 100 A, Stamos Power ² provides the necessary flexibility when choosing the cutting current. All values are shown precisely on the LCD display. The high-frequency ignition works without contact and is extremely reliable. For an optimal cutting joint, the device offers a gas post-flow time of 10 s. The air blows the kerf clean and prevents contamination during the cut, while the cutting torch is cooled at the same time.

The plasma cutter from Stamos Power ² works with a 400 V three-phase operating voltage and cuts workpieces from a wide variety of metal materials. This includes low- and high-alloy steels as well as the non-ferrous metals aluminium, copper and titanium. With a 5 m long plasma hose in connection with the 3 m long grounding cable, the plasma cutter offers a high degree of freedom of movement.

The power unit of the plasma cutting device is protected against damage by fan cooling and overheating protection. The cutting torch is cooled by the compressed air. The powder-coated steel casing reliably protects the technology in the device, a handle facilitates the transport of the plasma cutter.

IGBT = insulated-gate bipolar transistor. IGBT is a bipolar transistor with an insulated gate electrode. This semi-conducting device is being increasingly used in power electronics because it combines the advantages of two transistor types: the easy controls of the field effect transistor and the fast switching and high breakdown voltage of the bipolar transistor. The IGBT also offers some robustness against short circuits because it limits the electrical continuity. IGBTs are a further development of MOSFET technology.

For plasma cutting, a gas is required with which the molten metal is blown away from the work surface. Compressed air is a common solution for this. For this purpose, the plasma cutter has a compressor connection.

On the back of every welding machine is a screw with an earthing mark. Before use, earth the unit via a cross-section cable, which must be at least 6 mm².




This device works with a 3-phase connection (400 V +/- 10 %).


A non-contact high-frequency ignition in TIG mode ensures a cleaner weld starting point.


The time after the weld is finished in which gas continues to flow from the torch; this cools the burner and protects the weld from oxidation.


Start the weld by placing pressure on the torch button. Stop the process by releasing the button.


By pressing the torch button the solenoid valve opens. allowing the gas to flow in. The gas pre-flow ignites the arc at the pre-set current. Releasing the burner button initiates a rise in the current to that of the pre-set welding current. The welding process stops once you press the burner button again.
