Factory seconds Plasma Cutter - 70 A - 400 V - pilot arc

With a duty cycle of 60 percent, the basic unit of the plasma cutter delivers a cutting current of 70 amperes. At 100 percent duty cycle, it delivers 52,4 amperes. The cutting current can be continuously varied between 20 and 70 amperes on the control unit. This covers the entire performance range, which enables the cutting of low- and high-alloy steels as well as aluminium, copper, titanium and other non-ferrous metals.

The LED display and the rest of the control unit provide an overview of the performance values. Both the cutting current and the air pressure can be preselected precisely and steplessly via rotary knobs. In this way, the optimum performance values can be set for every area of application. Depending on the metal, the plasma cutter can reach a cutting depth of up to 20 mm.

You can connect an external compressor via the included compressed air hose. The required working pressure is 4 to 5 bar at an air flow rate of 235 litres per minute. You can set the air pressure values using the integrated pressure reducer on the easy-to-read control unit and check them on the dial gauge.

The 5 metre-long plasma hose and 3 metre-long grounding cable ensure plenty of freedom of movement. The ergonomic torch with P31 Softgrip coating ensures comfortable operation and fatigue-free work. The pilot arc can be started directly at the cutting torch via high frequency.

Whether in an extensive renovation or in industrial production, metal work is often a rugged affair and the tools and machines used must be correspondingly robust. For this reason, the power unit of the cutter is housed in a coated sheet steel housing, which guarantees both functional efficiency under difficult working conditions and a long service life.

The base unit is fitted with a powerful fan for cooling to prevent any problems from overheating. However, if the operating temperature does experience a sudden, unwanted increase, it will trigger the overheat protection. This guarantees that the operating temperature is maintained and that the device has a long service life.
