Welder

With the S-MIGMA-155 combined welding machine from Stamos Germany, you will find a professional, innovative and high-quality device for a variety of repair and maintenance work. It combines the welding procedures of MIG, MAG, MMA and FCAW (flux core arc welding) and is thus very versatile. The compact design, the robust housing and the two carrying handles make the S-MIGMA-155 the ideal companion at the workshop or on the construction site.

Materials such as aluminium, copper, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, nickel and other alloys can be worked with the S-MIGMA-155. The welding current can be regulated in the range of 60 to 155 amperes and can thus be individually adapted to the required specifications. For welding, solid wire / core wire (flux) can be used in wire sizes between 0,6 mm and 0,8 mm.

The simple to use interface allows for intuitive operation and easy adjustment of the desired parameters. The welding machine has ventilators, which are used for optimal cooling. The resulting heat is thus transported away quickly and effectively. The thermal overload protection additionally ensures a high safe use.

Welding helmet

The Pokerface welding helmet by the Professional Series from Stamos Germany - the best choice for professional and hobby welders

The automatic Pokerface welding helmet from the Professional Series from Stamos Germany is characterized by its light weight and good response speed. The welding helmet is extremely versatile and can be used within all common welding processes (MIG welding, MAG / CO2 welding, manual welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting and micro plasma cutting).

In addition, the automatic welding helmet Pokerface is known for its long-lasting visibility (cartridges). The cartridges are powered by solar cells and a CR2450 battery. The welding helmet works with a particularly wide range of light protection, which can be flexibly adjusted from DIN 4 - 8 or from DIN 9 - 13. The size of the screen is an extraordinary 100 x 65 mm. In this way, you can always keep an overview of all the essential details.

The welding helmet is made of robust plastic. This ensures that the welding mask weighs only about 500 grams and that you do not have to worry about any restrictions or pain during work. A particularly prominent characteristic of the Pokerface is the simple adaptation to every head shape. Also adjustable is the distance between the face and the visor. This guarantees that the helmet sits extremely securely and can be used first-class.

In addition, Professional Series welding helmets have an outstanding response time of 1 / 30,000 seconds from light to dark. This means that you are always protected from dangerous arcs. The outstanding reaction time also allows for a seamless transition without the eyes being too stressed or requiring a prolonged adaptation time.

VENTILATORS

Powerful fans ensure an optimal removal of heat from the unit.

PROTECTIVE GAS

TIG/MIG and MAG welding require a protective gas. Inert gases, such as argon and helium, as well as active gases (for example carbon dioxide) and other mixtures can be used. The solenoid valve regulates the flow of gas. The valve is operated via a button on the torch.

EARTHING SYSTEM

On the back of every welding machine is a screw with an earthing mark. Before use, earth the unit via a cross-section cable, which must be at least 6 mm².

GROUND TERMINAL CONNECTOR

MMA WELDING CABLE CONNECTOR

TIG TORCH CONNECTOR

FOOT PEDAL CONNECTOR

This unit can also be operated using a foot pedal.

SUPPLY VOLTAGE

This device works with a 3-phase connection (400 V +/- 10 %).

COOLING SYSTEM CONNECTIONS

If welding with more than 200 A it is recommend that a cooler is used. The connections of the welding device and the cooler-lines are marked accordingly with colours.

NON-CONTACT HF-IGNITION

A non-contact high-frequency ignition in TIG mode ensures a cleaner weld starting point.

GAS PRE-FLOW TIME

This is the time taken from the moment of pressing the torch button to that of the electric arc igniting. During this process the solenoid valve opens and the released gas pushes the oxygen from the gas lines and in doing so, forms a protective atmosphere for the arc.

STARTING CURRENT

Value of the arc ignition output current. This current can be adjusted at will. For precision welding, it is recommended to start with reduced power, weld smoothly and eventually adjust the current accordingly.

CURRENT RISE TIME

The time taken by the output power to rise to that of the welding current’s value.

WELDING CURRENT

DOWN SLOPE TIME

The time taken of the output welding current to lower to that of the terminal current.

FINAL CURRENT

The output current value before the end of the weld. Welding with the final current helps prevent a crater forming at the end of the weld.

GAS POST-FLOW TIME

The time after the weld is finished in which gas continues to flow from the torch; this cools the burner and protects the weld from oxidation.

PULSE

This function reduces the heat to the material. It is primarily suitable for welding thin plates. If MIG welding is used, it is perfect for aluminium welding.

PULSE FREQUENCY

The frequency of impulses during pulse mode.

PULSE DUTY FACTOR

Relation of pulse duration to period duration.

IMPULSE CURRENT

The maximum value of the electric current while in pulse mode.

BASE CURRENT

The current which maintains the arc while in pulse mode.

POWER FACTOR CORRECTION

This is the percentage difference of the time between the positive and negative direction of the current during a welding period. This feature allows control of the width of the welding seam and the depth of penetration.

CLEAN WIDTH - PARAMETERS OF POWER FACTOR CORRECTION

This is the percentage difference of the time between the positive and negative direction of the current during a welding period.

2-STROKE

Start the weld by placing pressure on the torch button. Stop the process by releasing the button.

4-STROKE

By pressing the torch button the solenoid valve opens. allowing the gas to flow in. The gas pre-flow ignites the arc at the pre-set current. Releasing the burner button initiates a rise in the current to that of the pre-set welding current. The welding process stops once you press the burner button again.

HOT START

Through automatically boosting the tension at the ignition of the arc, this function facilitates the electrical arc ignition. After ignition, the unit automatically returns to the pre-set voltage.

Show moreShow less

ARC FORCE

The current value increases automatically when the arc is shorter.

ANTI-STICK

This function helps to prevent overheating of the electrode by switching off the welding current when the electrode sticks to the material.

TIG WELDING

A welding method in which the arc is maintained through an electrical current supplied from a non-consumable electrode. The arc is protected from the access of air by an inert gas.

MMA WELDING

Electrode welding with a coated electrode.
