PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
As welding studs are the one connecting element between the welder material and the components attached to it, they are indispensable for stud welding. This stud welder set by Stamos Germany contains 100 welding studs, ideal for durably connecting elements in a plurality of fields, such as the electrical industry, laboratory technology, vehicle body, insulating technology or in casing/switch cabinet construction.
These copper-plated weld studs are made of steel, which makes them incredibly resistant and durable. Also, thanks to their copper coating, they are both well protected against corrosion, as well as great heat and electricity conductors. The stud diameter is 6 mm (M6). Due to their low weld penetration, these tip ignition studs are mainly used for thin-walled metal sheets (from 0.5 mm).
The nominal stud length is 10 mm. The welding stud has a precisely defined ignition tip, where the arc is ignited and melts. Due to the short but strong heat development, a small weld pool is produced in order to durably connect the piece to the stud.
