Welding studs constitute the one connecting element between the welder material and the components attached to it, and are therefore indispensible for stud welding. This stud welder set by Stamos Germany contains 100 welding studs, ideal for durably connecting elements in a plurality of fields, such as the electrical industry, laboratory technology, vehicle body, insulating technology or in casing/switch cabinet construction.

The weld studs are made of stainless steel, with a plain finish. They are largely non-corrosive and highly resistant, with a diameter of 4 mm (M4). Due to their low weld penetration, these tip ignition studs are mainly used for thin-walled metal sheets (from 0,5 mm).

The nominal stud length is 16 mm. The welding stud has a precisely defined ignition tip, where the arc is ignited and melts. Due to the short but strong heat development, a small weld pool is produced in order to durably connect the piece to the stud.
