The AC/DC TIG/MMA welding machine S-AC200P BASIC can be used for a great variety of applications and is an ideal multi-tasker. It also benefits from high-quality workmanship and precise settings.

TIG welding – the most important feature of this machine – is available in both DC and AC mode. When TIG welding in DC mode, almost all common materials can be used. The AC mode covers all remaining materials and also allows easy welding of aluminium. Its cutting-edge technology sets new standards and ensures top-quality welds. There is hardly a more suitable machine than the S-AC200P BASIC.

It goes without saying that the S-AC200P BASIC also features MMA welding, requiring no additional shielding gas – one of the major benefits of this welding process. Stick welding is easily learnt and thus a welding technique that is suitable for beginners. The S-AC200P BASIC by Stamos Germany is extremely intuitive and easy to use.

The additional pulse function enables the application of more energy without significantly increasing the temperature at the work piece. The pulse frequency is used to set the frequency of waves per unit of time. Current increase and decrease can also be regulated.

The power fans of the Stamos S-AC200P BASIC ensure optimum cooling. Thanks to these sophisticated fans, the heat produced by this high-end product is removed quickly and efficiently from the machine, offering a well-rounded safety package with perfect cooling and thermal overload protection.

Welding helmet

The Carbonic welding helmet by the Professional Series from Stamos Germany - the best choice for professional and hobby welders

The automatic Carbonic welding helmet from the Professional Series from Stamos Germany is characterized by its light weight and good response speed. The welding helmet is extremely versatile and can be used within all common welding processes (MIG welding, MAG / CO2 welding, manual welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting and micro plasma cutting).

In addition, the automatic welding helmet Carbonic is known for its long-lasting visibility (cartridges). The cartridges are powered by solar cells and a CR2450 battery. The welding helmet works with a particularly wide range of light protection, which can be flexibly adjusted from DIN 4 - 8 or from DIN 9 - 13. The size of the screen is an extraordinary 100 x 65 mm. In this way, you can always keep an overview of all the essential details.

The welding helmet is made of robust plastic. This ensures that the welding mask weighs only about 500 grams and that you do not have to worry about any restrictions or pain during work. A particularly prominent characteristic of theCarbonic is the simple adaptation to every head shape. Also adjustable is the distance between the face and the visor. This guarantees that the helmet sits extremely securely and can be used first-class.

In addition, Professional Series welding helmets have an outstanding response time of 1 / 30,000 seconds from light to dark. This means that you are always protected from dangerous arcs. The outstanding reaction time also allows for a seamless transition without the eyes being too stressed or requiring a prolonged adaptation time.

The automatic welding helmet Carbonic can be used with all common welding procedures and also has a practical grind mode. Thus, the helmet can be used for pure roughing, cutting and grinding work without an annoying up-and-down. Carbonic stands out as early as 3 amps. Whether you are an artisan, or want to use the welding helmet for private use or to be used in the workshop, the Carbonic combines all the necessary protection mechanisms and impresses with its quality and longevity.

MOSFET

The welder is equipped with a MOSFET transistor. This technology represents the highest standards of performance combined with compact and lightweight design. The result is 93% efficiency! The welding current is very stable and thus ensures a perfect weld.

VENTILATORS

Powerful fans ensure an optimal removal of heat from the unit.

PROTECTIVE GAS

TIG/MIG and MAG welding require a protective gas. Inert gases, such as argon and helium, as well as active gases (for example carbon dioxide) and other mixtures can be used. The solenoid valve regulates the flow of gas. The valve is operated via a button on the torch.

EARTHING SYSTEM

On the back of every welding machine is a screw with an earthing mark. Before use, earth the unit via a cross-section cable, which must be at least 6 mm².

GROUND TERMINAL CONNECTOR

MMA WELDING CABLE CONNECTOR

TIG TORCH CONNECTOR

FOOT PEDAL CONNECTOR

This unit can also be operated using a foot pedal.

SUPPLY VOLTAGE

This device works with a 1-phase connection (230 V +/- 10 %).

NON-CONTACT HF-IGNITION

A non-contact high-frequency ignition in TIG mode ensures a cleaner weld starting point.

STARTING CURRENT

Value of the arc ignition output current. This current can be adjusted at will. For precision welding, it is recommended to start with reduced power, weld smoothly and eventually adjust the current accordingly.

WELDING CURRENT

FINAL CURRENT

The output current value before the end of the weld. Welding with the final current helps prevent a crater forming at the end of the weld.

GAS POST-FLOW TIME

The time after the weld is finished in which gas continues to flow from the torch; this cools the burner and protects the weld from oxidation.

PULSE

This function reduces the heat to the material. It is primarily suitable for welding thin plates. If MIG welding is used, it is perfect for aluminium welding.

PULSE FREQUENCY

The frequency of impulses during pulse mode.

PULSE DUTY FACTOR

Relation of pulse duration to period duration.

BASE CURRENT

The current which maintains the arc while in pulse mode.

CLEAN WIDTH - PARAMETERS OF POWER FACTOR CORRECTION

This is the percentage difference of the time between the positive and negative direction of the current during a welding period.

CLEAN SCOPE - AC STROMBALANCE PARAMETER

This is the percentage difference between the positive and negative welding current value during a period.

2-STROKE

Start the weld by placing pressure on the torch button. Stop the process by releasing the button.

4-STROKE

By pressing the torch button the solenoid valve opens. allowing the gas to flow in. The gas pre-flow ignites the arc at the pre-set current. Releasing the burner button initiates a rise in the current to that of the pre-set welding current. The welding process stops once you press the burner button again.

HOT START

Through automatically boosting the tension at the ignition of the arc, this function facilitates the electrical arc ignition. After ignition, the unit automatically returns to the pre-set voltage.

ARC FORCE

The current value increases automatically when the arc is shorter.

ANTI-STICK

This function helps to prevent overheating of the electrode by switching off the welding current when the electrode sticks to the material.

TIG WELDING

A welding method in which the arc is maintained through an electrical current supplied from a non-consumable electrode. The arc is protected from the access of air by an inert gas.

MMA WELDING

Electrode welding with a coated electrode.

POWER SWITCH

"2T / 4T" SELECTION SWITCH

Choose between the 2T and 4T mode.

TIG AC/DC MODE SWITCH

TIG welding is divided into AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current) welding.

PULSE FUNCTION SWITCH

Used to switch the pulse function on and off.

SWITCH BETWEEN THE WELDING METHODS

By using the SHIFT key the welding mode can be selected.

DISPLAY

Shows the welding / cutting parameters.

OVERLOAD / FAULT LED

The LED light indicates overheating or a malfunction.
