The Alucutter effortlessly cuts even large insulation boards with a cutting length of up to 1350 mm and a cutting depth of up to 330 mm. The lateral support prevents large foam boards from slipping. This reduces the possibility for errors and waste to a minimum.

The high-powered 200 W transformer heats the cutting wire in 1-2 seconds and ensures continuous operation if required. The continuous tension of the cutting wire happens automatically via a wire suspension with a spring. During the cutting, the wire slides effortlessly along the guide carriage and through the insulating material, achieving straight, smooth and clean cuts.

The device can also be used outdoors at construction sites, as adverse weather conditions are no obstacle for the Styrofoam cutter. The IP68-rated transformer is waterproof, and the electrical connections between the transformer and yoke comply with the industry-standard XLR and are splash-proof - so that rain and moisture don’t affect the device.

Despite the robustness of the device, the Styrofoam cutter works with high precision. The millimetre-precise cuts of the Alucutter are made possible because of the fine adjustments of cutting length, depth and angle. The long plate of the scale can be tilted so that mitres may be cut horizontally and vertically.

The depth limiter and holder of the Alucutter ensure that the material remains level and secure even on slopes. The Styrofoam cutter has pre-assembled stop riders that allow you to repeat the same cuts quickly and accurately.

A fold-out pedestal and a stand holder are integrated in this professional cutter. The hard foam cutting device has a secure footing on every construction site and can be installed on any scaffolding with just a few simple steps.

The stable and weatherproof construction made of powder-coated aluminium makes the Styrofoam cutter lightweight. As a result, it can be quickly folded up for transport, especially on the scaffold, with just a few simple steps.

The Alucutter comes with five "Styrogrips". The insulation parts can be grasped and positioned effortlessly. They can also be used for a joint-free mounting of the hard foam parts onto a wall. This is easy to do until the adhesive has hardened and nothing can slip. A practical grinding rasp is included in delivery.

The Styrocutter melts the material at the cut surface and thereby ensures a perfectly clean cut. Before cutting, the blade is heated to the needed temperature and effortlessly glides through the Styrofoam, leaving clean edges. The hand cutter’s cutting temperature can be adjusted in 16 steps to up to 500 °C. The powerful transformer ensures a quick heating within 5 to 10 seconds.

The ergonomic one-hand handle and the cord length of 3m allow you to work comfortably. The supplied blades are extra hardened and can easily be exchanged with an Allen key.
