Foam Cutter with a Notch Blade - 190 W

Due to its high temperatures of up to 450 °C, the foam cutter glides effortlessly and with low resistance through insulating materials such as expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS), thermoplastic, PU foams, etc. Even when working in warehouses, you benefit from the properties of the STYRO CUTTER PBT01, as polystyrene sheets can be cut or profiled to fit goods accurately to place them securely in their respective boxes.

Foam cutters melt the material at the interface and produce an exact cut through the material. Before the cutting, the blade is heated to the desired temperature and effortlessly glides through the foam, leaving clean edges. The cutting temperature of the STYRO CUTTER PBT01 can be adjusted in 16 steps up to 450 °C. The powerful transformer ensures a rapid heating within seconds.

The ergonomic one-hand grip and the generous cable length (3 m) allow a particularly flexible working. Since the device can be equipped with a variety of different blades, it is universally applicable. The professional device from the trade supplies is very compact, lightweight and has practical hanging brackets, in case you need both hands to handle larger foam plates. This technology has been applied for years and the device has a low maintenance.

For an easier freehand cutting, there is a practical notch cutting carriage with a guide included with the foam cutter. You can use it to make notches, recesses and a variety of different cuts. The length of the guide rail is individually adjustable and guarantees precise cuts and a non-slip handling. The scale helps you to set the desired notch width with millimetre precision. The cutting edge (also included in delivery) is bendable. This makes it possible to achieve any kind of cut.

In addition to the foam cutter STYRO CUTTER PBT01 and the notch cutting carriage, you also receive an extensive range of accessories: two straight blades (150 and 200 mm), two adjustable guides for the notch cutting carriage, a flexible flat blade, a brush for cleaning the blades and an Allen key for quickly changing the blade. A measuring tape and a marker facilitate a perfect operation. All components can be stored in the sturdy case and transported easily.
