The Aquaphor water filter pitcher J. SHMIDT 500 removes contaminants down to 0.1 µm thanks to the filter cartridge with Aqualen®. It filters out heavy metals such as lead, copper or mercury, as well as bacteria, chlorine, pollen and other contaminants. The water filter pitcher with a total capacity of 2.8 L is perfect for small children, people with allergies and coffee and tea lovers. It is also suited for use in bistros, cafés, hotel rooms and guest rooms.

Unlike standard filter pitchers with carbon filters, the Aquaphor table water filter has a filter cartridge made of Aqualen, a patented composite material which effectively reduces contaminants and thoroughly purifies the water . The technology enables efficient ultra-fine filtration of all particles from a size of 0.1 µm—800 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair. The result is clean, fresh water free of chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria, organic compounds or phenol. The filtration is 100% chemical-free and takes place in a water purifier jug made of BPA-free plastic.

Next generation kitchen appliances: The table water filter was filter 1 L of water in one minute. This is made possible by the efficient micropump, which is powered by a battery that can be charged via a USB port like a smartphone. An illuminated display informs you when the filter jug needs to be connected to power, as well as when the filter should be replaced. This is necessary after approx. 500 L of filtered water.
